UPDATE: Gold Coast trains resumed after car crashed into rail bridge
Update @ 7.50am:Â Gold Coast train lines have now resumed between Rocklea and Yeerongpilly, after a car crashed into a rail bridge at Rocklea.
TransLink is still warning of residual delays, which could last up to 30 minutes.

Earlier @7.15am: The Gold Coast train line has been suspended in both directions are a car crashed into a rail bridge this morning.
It happened at Rocklea, suspending Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines between Rocklea and Yeerongpilly stations.
TransLink has advised delays could be up to 30 minutes long.
Technicians are on scene at the moment, it’s not clear exactly what damage has been done.
Beenleigh line trains travelling to Brisbane will temporarily run express from Coopers Plains to Yeerongpilly.
Train commuters are being urged to allow extra travel time this morning.
