Gold Coast trains suspended, roads closed due to police incident
Gold Coast trains have been suspended and a major road has been closed due to a police incident on the Gold Coast.
Queensland Police have confirmed an incident is unfolding along Foxwell Road in Coomera.
It’s understood the road has been closed in both directions and traffic diversions are in place.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area if possible.
COOMERA: Trains have currently been stopped on the Gold Coast/Beenleigh line due to a police incident near Foxwell Road. Some traffic diversions are also in place, please avoid if possible.

TransLink has also confirmed the incident has forced the suspension of services between Helensvale and Ormeau stations.
Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.
