Gold Coast truckies escape injury after two separate rollovers

Two truck drivers have miraculously managed to escape injury after separate rollovers on the Gold Coast today.

The first accident happened in Oxenford around midday, when a truck lost control and flipped at the Tamborine Oxenford Road roundabout with Leo Graham Way.

The driver was assessed at the scene by paramedics, but thankfully did not need to be taken to hospital.

It’s understood the truck was transporting cold food at the time, with another refrigeration truck called to the scene to pick up the goods.

At least one lane has been blocked westbound, with the Department of Transport and Main Roads warning drivers to expect delays.

About an hour later, emergency crews were called to another truck rollover in Helensvale at the Exit 60 on-ramp.

The driver was assessed by paramedics, but also managed to escape unharmed.

Too fast obviously, trucks don’t just roll for no reason.
