A Gold Coast man has been charged over an alleged stabbing attack in Surfers Paradise yesterday afternoon.
Police say they were called to a unit along Purli Street around 4.00 pm, following reports of the incident.
A 46-year-old resident had received a single stab wound to his right thigh, believed to have been from a small kitchen knife.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment of a two-centimetre wound, police said.
Meantime, officers located a 30-year-old Nerang man out the front of the building.
He was arrested and charged with one count each of wounding, assault, enter premises and commit an indictable offence and wilful damage.
Police say the men are known to each other, with the alleged offender to front Southport court today.
