Gold Coaster hospitalised after car flips at busy intersection

A woman is recovering in hospital this morning after her car flipped on the Gold Coast last night.

Emergency services were called to Smith Street and Parklands Drive just after 8.30 pm, following reports that a vehicle had crashed and rolled.

Paramedics assessed a woman briefly at the scene before taking her to the hospital for further treatment.


She’s understood to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Also overnight, police are investigating a major break-in at a car dealership in Robina, which saw around $500,000 worth of damage caused.
