Gold Coasters fight for spot in The Voice final
THREE Gold Coast singers will this week go head-to-head against their teammates as the explosive battles rounds of Nine’s hit TV talent series The Voice continue.
Each fighting for a place in the final Showdowns, Candice Skjonnemand, 27, and Jayde Grey, 20 will battle it out tonight at 7.30pm.
Candice will face off against 20-year-old Melbourne soul singer Thando Sikwila, performing Emeli Sande’s Clown.
Jayde is set to belt out Kelly Clarkson’s Since U Been Gone with 27-year-old Sunshine Coast singer Louise Van Veenendaal.
Jacob Lee, 19, will go up against Sydney’s Jhoanna Aguila later this week, singing James Morrison’s You Make It Real.
Coaches Will-i-am, Kylie Minouge, Ricky Martin and Joel Madden opened the battle rounds on Sunday night with a powerhouse rendition of Havana Brown’s Warrior (pictured).
