GOLD Coasters are being urged to get behind Red Nose Day tomorrow to help support families who’ve experienced the sudden death of a baby or child.
Red Nose Day is SIDS and Kids‘ biggest national fundraising event held each year in Australia, dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and supporting bereaved families.
Figures show nine Australian children under the age of four die each day as a result of sudden illness, accidents, SIDS and stillbirth.

The organisation is less than five per cent government-funded and relies heavily on the proceeds from Red Nose Day to continue its work in providing vital services and programs in the local community.
