A Gold Coast law firm has warned against whinging about exes online, especially where children are involved.
Michael Kilmartin from Adams Wilson lawyers said airing dirty laundry online “might make you feel better at the time but later on down the track, in the long term, it could have devastating consequences that’ll be a lot worse than a bit of temporary relief from some frustration”.

He said maybe a venting session with mum might be better than taking to social media.
Mr Kilmartin recommended confiding in the woman who brought you into the world or a trusted friend instead.
He warned that social media should not be used as an outlet, adding that information posted could be used against the person posting during a custody battle.
