More hazard reduction burns are set to take place tomorrow, layering the coast in another smokey haze.
Residents surrounding the Coombabah Conservation Area are being advised of the burns, which will take place Tuesday August 27 and Wednesday August 28, weather permitting.
The mop-up will then ideally occur on Thursday August 29.

Locals are being warned to expect smoke, and keep windows and doors closed where possible.
Those with breathing conditions are being urged to keep medication nearby, and look out for family or friends who might be impacted by smoke.
