The Gold Coast’s fire danger rating has been raised back to ‘very high’ as crews prepare for an increase in temperatures.
Blazes burning in the Scenic Rim and north of Toowoomba continue to be the main concern around the state.
On the Gold Coast, blazes continue burning in Binna Burra and Lower Beechmont, though they’re not currently threatening any property.

Crews will remain on high alert around the state today, with temperatures headed for the high 20s and mostly sunny conditions.
It’s understood conditions could worsen again tomorrow, with temperatures predicted to heat up into the 30s.
Though there’s still no rain predicted for the next week and mostly sunny and warm conditions on the cards every day.
We’re being warned the smoke haze could stick around for most of the week as well.
