The RACQ wants you to nominate the Gold Coast’s most congested roads and intersections in their latest Red Spot survey so that they can lobby the Queensland Government for the spots to be upgraded.
“Whether it’s traffic lights that take too long to change, delays at a rail crossing or something completely different, we want drivers to pinpoint locations that consistently delay their journey,” said the RACQ’s Renee Smith.
“Traffic delays are not only frustrating, but congestion actually costs the economy through loss of productivity.”

The previous Red Spot survey received over 2500 responses, and helped the RACQ to push for upgrades to the Ipswich Motorway, Gateway Motorway north and a rail crossing at Bald Hills in Brisbane.
Nominate a Gold Coast road on the RACQ website before Tuesday 31 October 2017.
