The City of Gold Coast is calling for your ideas to help revitalise the city’s main CBD street into “a dynamic world class destination”.
The council has plans to develop the stretch of road – Nerang Street in Southport between High Street and Marine Parade – to attract more businesses and investment to the area, as well as education and leisure opportunities.
Division 6 Councillor Dawn Crichlow said the project will be led by H2 consultants and be guided by collaboration with key stakeholders and the community.

Ms Crichlow described it as “a key opportunity to reinvigorate the connection between the Broadwater and the old hospital site.”

- Chinatown Street Markets on Saturday 1 July between 5pm and 9pm
