Government employee charged for allegedly sexual touching a teen girl

A man is due to front court today, charged over the alleged sexual touching of a teenage girl at a school event in Sydney’s West.

An investigation commenced after reports a 15-year-old girl has been sexually touched by an unknown man during a high school event last month.

Following inquiries, detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad arrested a 52-year-old man at a Queen Street business in Campbelltown on April 2.


He was charged with common assault and intentionally sexually touching a child between 10 and 16 years old.

The man is believed to be a local government employee.

He’ll front Campbelltown Local Court today.

Investigations are still underway.
