Grants up for grabs for creative Gold Coasters

IF you’ve got a bit creative idea, the City of Gold Coast is looking for you.

Local artists, creative businesses or organisations are being encouraged to to apply for Regional Arts Development Fund* grants to bring their big ideas to life.

 “The successful projects will fuel the cultural change that’s happening on the Gold Coast,” Mayor Tom Tate said.

“This funding can be a major boost that’s needed for a project to take off, we want to unearth the great ideas we know are out there and assist as much as we can,” he added.

This is the third and final round for 2013-14. Applications close 4 April for projects that commence after 16 May.

*RADF is a Queensland Government initiative through Arts Queensland in conjunction with the City of Gold Coast to support local arts and culture.
