Grave concerns for missing NSW man who hasn’t accessed bank account

Police have released fresh CCTV footage as the search for an elderly man missing from Sydney’s east since last month continues.

Robert Duncan was last seen at a home on Alison Road in Randwick on Wednesday 14 April.

The 78-year-old was reported missing to police on Monday 26 April, when the building manager discovered he hadn’t returned to his home.

Serious concerns are being held for Mr Duncan’s welfare as he is unable to be contacted and hasn’t accessed his bank accounts in weeks.

Eastern Beaches Police Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Rodney Pistola says his behaviour is out of character and is calling on anyone with information to come forward.

“By releasing CCTV, we hope someone in the community may recognise Robert,” Det Insp Pistola said.

“Any information, no matter how small, could be the missing piece of the puzzle police need to locate him.”

Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165cm tall, with a slim build and white hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat.

Anyone who sees Robert or believes they may know his whereabouts, is urged to contact investigators.
