Missing Sydney boy who sparked frantic search found safe and well

UPDATE @ Dec 20, 8.45am: A missing teenage boy who police held serious concerns for has been found in NSW.

Police confirmed the 15-year-old was found safe and well in Bargo.

He disappeared from his home The Oaks early yesterday morning, sparking a frantic search.

EARLIER @ Dec 19, 2.15pm: Police are desperately appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage boy who they have ‘grave concerns’ for.

The teen was last seen about 6.45am today, when he left his family home in The Oaks, near Camden.

The 15-year-old was wearing a black hooded jumper, dark coloured shorts, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 180cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police are currently searching for the teen and believe he may have visited the Sydney CBD area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately.
