A major search operation is underway for a man missing from a notorious swimming spot in Sydney’s Royal National Park.
Two men were swept off rocks at the popular Figure Eight Pools around 2pm on Monday afternoon.
One of the men managed to climb to safety on the rock shelf and was later treated by paramedics for minor lacerations.

A second man, believed to be aged 22, disappeared under the water had failed to resurface.
Three others escaped injury.
Water Police and lifesavers from Surf Life Saving New South Wales are assisting with the search for the 22-year-old while the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter is also involved.
Police say the expect the search to continue until later this evening.
The Figure Eight Pools is an extremely popular swimming spot, but also one of the most dangerous especially at high tide.
