Grievous bodily harm charges after restaurant fight breaks out
A 23-year-old man will front court this morning, charged with the grievous bodily harm of another man at a restaurant in Logan last night.
Around 10.00pm, the 23-year-old New South Wales man walked into a restaurant on Yarrabilba Drive, where a fight broke out with a 29-year-old man.
Emergency services were called to the scene, after the younger male allegedly punched the 29-year-old in the face, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on concrete pavement.
He lost consciousness, and paramedics rushed him to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Police charged the 23-year-old with one count of grievous bodily harm.
He’ll front Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
