Grinches pinch giant paddle pop from Christmas display at Pacific Fair

A GIANT $4,000 paddle-pop has been stolen from a Christmas display at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast.

The oversized ice-cream was pinched from outside the Broadbeach shopping centre on Wednesday night.

It’s understood a pair of tossers dragged the bulky 60kg artifact into a tin boat and took off along the canal.

The white and gold paddle-pop was part of Pacific Fair’s 12 days of Christmas art installation.

The centre has taken to social media to try and track down the grinches responsible.

“The Grinch has stolen one of our Paddle Pops!,” a post on the centre’s Facebook Page reads.

“Christmas just isn’t the same without all of our paddle-pops so we want it back!”

Anyone who knows where the giant paddle-pop is located is urged to call Pacific Fair on 07 5581 5100.
