Four people, including a 14-year-old boy, have been charged after a wild car chase across the Gold Coast overnight in an allegedly stolen car.
Police noticed the stolen vehicle at around 11.00 pm along Cayuga Street in Nerang, where it then evaded officers.
They were able to track it to Hope Island Road just after midnight where they deployed a tyre deflation device.

It then finally came to a stop along Abrahams Road in Coomera, where police found four occupants in the car and arrested them all.
A 28-year-old Biggera Waters man was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, evade police, unlicensed driving and fraud. He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court today.
A 26-year-old Caboolture woman was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, receiving tainted property, possessing dangerous drugs and possess drug utensil.
A 22-year-old Russell Island woman was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possess dangerous drugs and she is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates court on June 1.
A 14-year-old Southport boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possess dangerous drugs, enter premises and commit indictable offence and enter premises with intent. He is due to appear in the Southport Children’s Court, May 19.
Police will allege the car was stolen from an address on the Brisbane Corso in Yeronga around 4.00 am yesterday, May 16.
Investigations are still underway.
