Guard dog detains vandal who smashed cars and threatened security
An appropriately named guard dog has detained a vandal who smashed up cars and threatened security at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
According to police, the 23-year-old man was caught early on Thursday morning.
He’s accused of threatening security guards with a pole but guard dog Xena, who fittingly shares a name with the famous warrior princess, snarled the man into submission and helped detain him until police arrived.
The man has been charged with aggravated assault, property damage and illegal interference.
