Concertgoers shot dead after gunman opens fire on crowd in Austria

At least two people have been shot dead and several others have been wounded after a gunman reportedly opened fire at a concert in western Austria.

The gunman, reported to be a 27-year-old man, is understood to have fired a volley of shots into the crowd at a concert in the town of Nenzing, in Austria’s western state of Vorarlberg.

Early reports suggest as many as twelve people were shot, two of whom are believed to have died at the scene.

At least 10 other people are believed to have been wounded.

There are reports a domestic dispute may have led to the shooting.

The gunman reportedly turned the gun on himself after firing into the crowd.

He too died at the scene, taking the total number of dead to three.
