A stunning Gold Coast criminal lawyer has been caught up in major guns and drug bust.
Briana Ioannides, 26, was arrested yesterday after police found a loaded sawn-off shotgun, a handgun, thousands of dollars in cash, a large quantity of steroids and drugs including “ice”, cannabis, ecstasy and liquid “GBH” in a dawn raid at her Bundall home.
The glamorous brunette and her 25-year-old boyfriend, Daniel White-Mayne, who also lives at the house on Coogeen St, have both been charged with multiple drug and firearms offences.
The couple’s property is located down the road from the house where Ryan John Howes was dramatically arrested last week over the stabbing death of teen Michael Brack after a drug deal went wrong.
Ms Ioannides, who holds a double degree in law and commerce, has since been suspended from her job with high-profile Southport criminal law firm Gatenby Lawyers.
She has been released on bail and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on December 9. Her boyfriend White-Mayne is expected to face Court today.
