The key defender Davis strained his hamstring in the second quarter of the away loss to Port Adelaide last Sunday.
He becomes the third Giants star to be ruled out for the season following ruckman Shane Mumford and key back Tim Mohr, with star outside midfielder Dylan Shiel also unlikely to play again this year.
The Swans are 5th on the ladder with GWS down at 10th.
