Police have executed a search warrant in Sydney’s south west and seized over half a million dollars worth of counterfeit goods.
After information was received earlier this year, officers began investigations into the alleged importation, possession and sale of counterfeit goods in the area.
About 10.45am yesterday Wednesday 25 November 2015, officers executed the warrant at a unit in Woodpark Road, Smithfield.

During the search they located a large quantity of counterfeit goods, including branded clothing, goods and electrical items, with an estimated wholesale value if genuine of $513,000.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Merrylands Police Station.
He was subsequently charged with three counts of sell etc/possess/import goods with false trademark.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday 16 December 2015.
Investigations are continuing.
