Hawks thrash West Coast to break losing streak

Hawthorn have ended their losing start to the AFL season, with a dominant 51-point win over West Coast at the MCG.

The Hawks lead at every change before breaking away in the final quarter to smash the Eagles 19.11 (125) to 11.8 (74).

It’s the first win of the season for Hawthorn, who have struggled to show any strong form until Sunday.
