Hazard reduction burn to impact traffic around Gold Coast Uni Hospital
If you’re travelling along Smith Street this morning, don’t be too alarmed if you notice some smoke within the area.
A hazard reduction burn is being carried out in Molendinar today and tomorrow.
It’s happening at the Watergum Reserve, with traffic control called in to monitor any smoke impacts along Activity Crescent.
There could also be some impacts along Smith Street and at the Gold Coast University Hospital too, which will also be monitored.
Motorists are being urged to show patience throughout the area.
What about the covid sufferers?
Thanks for this info. Severe asthmatic and I appreciate the warning. Will be an inside day for me.
