An updated public health alert has been issued after the partner of the hotel cleaner at the centre of Greater Brisbane’s lockdown also tested positive to the virus.
Queensland Health has confirmed the man has been in quarantine since January 7, however additional contact tracing is ongoing.
So far, Bunnings Warehouse at Acacia Ridge and the Sunnybank Cellars at Sunnybank Hills have been added to a list of locations visited by the man while potentially infectious.

Anyone who has been to the two locations during the dates and times listed below is being asked to get a COVID test, regardless of symptoms.
They’re also being told to quarantine for 14 days since attending those venues.
“It is also important to remember to wear a mask to your local testing facility,” Queensland Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young said.
