Police are appealing for information after a 13-year-old boy was robbed while riding his bike in Port Macquarie.
The low act occurred just after 2.00pm on Thursday on Major Innes Road.
Police said the youngster stopped to give way to a car when he was hit on the back of his neck by a man, forcing him to fall from his bike onto the ground.

The man then attempted to ride away on the boy’s bike but dropped the bike and ran away with the boy’s backpack.
He was last seen headed south on The Ruins Way.
The thief is described as being 20 to 30 years old, about 180cm tall with a thin build.
He has dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white logo across the chest, denim knee length shorts, black joggers and a black beanie.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
