Two women have been charged after going on a month-long stealing spree targeting elderly women in shopping centres in Western Australia.
Between September and October, police allege the women stole handbags from shopping trolleys, mostly from elderly women shopping in supermarkets in the Mundaring, Midland and Northam areas.
After an ongoing investigation into the thefts, the women were arrested last week, in possession of a shopping trolley full of property, believed to have been stolen from various stores earlier in the day.
