Heavy rain forces closure of Gold Coast’s Tallebudgera Creek
It’s not exactly an ideal day for swimming – but if you were thinking of heading down to Tallebudgera Creek, you may want to think again.
Lifeguards have closed the popular swimming spot due to recent heavy rains.
It’s understood large rainfall over the past few days has caused quite a bit of pollution and debris to enter the creek, with the water not suitable for swimming.
Surf Life Saving Queensland has urged people to stay out of the water.
