A senior patched Hells Angel bikie will face court this morning on drugs and weapons charges.
The 42-year-old was driving on the Gold Coast Highway through Broadbeach on Saturday night when stopped by Task Force Maxima detectives.
During a search of the car investigators allegedly found a clipseal bag containing cocaine and a .22 calibre semi-automatic handgun.

“Illicit firearms particularly handguns, in the hands of OMCG is a recipe for disaster,” Taskforce Commander Mick Niland said.
“It’s another win for the community with every firearm we seize from crime gangs,” he added.
The man was charged with drug possession as well as the possession of a firearm and silencer.
He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
While a 21-year-old man was issued with a notice to appear in court on June 21, charged with one count each of possess category H weapon and possess category R weapon.
