Taskforce Maxima detectives have charged a 27-year-old man following an investigation into alleged stalking activity on the Gold Coast.
It will be alleged a member of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang stalked a 24-year-old woman between May and July this year including following her in her vehicle and making threats of physical violence.
It will further be alleged the man harassed, abused and threatened the victim through text messaging and social media.

Investigations are also being conducted after the woman’s vehicle was recently spray-painted with abusive messages.
A 27-year-old Gold Coast man has been charged with one count each of unlawful stalking, using a telecommunication device to threaten and harass and breach of bail.
He is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Detective Inspector Brendan Smith of Taskforce Maxima said: “The victim has been living in fear for some time being continually harassed and having her personal safety threatened and property damaged. This is a clear example of the bullying and threatening behaviour used by gangs to get their own way.”
“Victims of criminal behaviour by OMCGs who speak out should be applauded. It is their bravery which makes a difference and benefits the whole community by showing them that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated
