A heritage listed school near Toowoomba has been almost completely destroyed in an arson attack early on Anzac Day.
Emergency crews were called to Dalby State School at around 12.30am.
They saw flames coming from the front of the building on Cunningham Street.

Preliminary investigations indicate the fire was deliberately lit.
A crime scene has been established and the address was guarded overnight with investigators to return to the scene on Tuesday to figure out how the fire started.
