Baden-Clay’s legal defence team are fighting the prosecution who are seeking to reinstate his initial murder conviction.
In 2014, a jury found Baden-Clay guilty of the murder of his wife Allison, however in 2015, Queensland’s court of appeal downgraded the conviction to manslaughter, stating there was not enough evidence to prove he intended to kill his wife.
