A high-speed cross border police chase has ended in Currumbin on the Gold Coast.
A man who lead police on the chase, which began in Brunswick Heads in northern NSW, was arrested just before 11.45am.
Police had to call off the chase as it crossed over the border, however deployed road spikes at the Currumbin exit, bringing the car to a stop.

The man then tried to flee on foot, however was tackled to the ground by police.
He has been taken into custody at Coolangatta police station.
