High-tech experience centre is a Jewel

Drive along Old Burleigh Road from Broadbeach to Surfers Paradise and you’ll see a hive of activity at the Jewel Residences site. Construction of the $1 billion development is well on its way, with multiple cranes and dozens of workers busy during the day (and often at night). Looking at the current site it is hard to imagine what the three-tower project will look like come 2019.

That’s where the Jewel Experience Centre comes in. The centre is located right next door to the busy site and gives locals and visitors the chance to use virtual reality to explore the project.

“Potential buyers visiting the Experience Centre are able to use interactive touchscreen software to explore all aspects of the luxury development, including views from different levels, its avant-garde architecture, floor plans, amenities, and even a close up of its unprecedented ‘glass curtain’ exterior – which will give the project its shimmering, crystalline appearance when complete,” Sales & Marketing manager Vivian Zhu told myGC.

Director of Sales & Marketing Lucas Wilson told myGC the centre is not like the usual display suite. “This is something the Gold Coast hasn’t seen before. We didn’t want to do the stock-standard display suite that everybody else does. We are not on the market in competition, we are on the market in isolation, so we felt we needed to have something that showed that,” he said.

“We have created our own experience centre which has touch points of all of the parts of Jewel and gives you that little bit of a flavour of what it might be like to live on the beach in a Jewel apartment. From locals to international guests, everybody needs to come down and have a look. They will then understand what it’s all about.”

As for why Gold Coasters should seriously consider buying a Jewel apartment, Mr Wilson said the project is unique. “Everyone is talking about beachfront apartments but Jewel is the only true beachfront apartment that’s being built at the moment,” he said. “There is 130 metres of beachfront, 512 apartments, 169 hotel suites, 10 food and beverage outlets – I don’t think there is anything that it compares too on the Coast.”
