The leading men in Hollywood have been revealed in Forbes’ 2017 list of the world’s highest paid actors, and we have to admit, the results were a bit of a surprise!
It turns out muscle man Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been knocked out of the top spot, with funny guy Mark Wahlberg taking over.
According to the US business magazine, Wahlberg pocketed a mind-blowing $US68 million from June 2016 to June 2017, proving sequels like Transformers: The Last Knight and Daddy’s Home 2 paid off.

“Markie Mark is officially Richie Rich,” Forbes announced.
The Rock followed close behind with an income of $US65 million, with his Fast and Furious cast-mate Vin Diesel coming in at third on $US54.5 million.
Our very own Aussie heart throb Chris Hemsworth was the 12th highest paid actor, pocketing $US31 million.
