A Gold Coast man is a millionaire after winning Wednesday’s Gold Lotto draw.
The winner, in his 60’s, used the jersey numbers from his favourite overseas sporting team to pick the right numbers.
He told Gold Lotto he was flabbergasted when he discovered his System 7 marked entry in this week’s draw had won a $1 million first division prize.

“Bloody hell!” he said before adding “this is unbelievable! I’ve never won anything in my life! This is a miracle!”
“Do you want to know how I picked my winning numbers? They are actually the players’ jersey numbers from my favourite overseas sporting team!
“This prize has now given me the beautiful opportunity to visit family who live overseas,” the delighted winner added.
The winning System 7 marked Wednesday Gold Lotto entry was purchased from News Extra Highland Park.
This is the fourth big win in eighteen months for the outlet which sold a $1.1 million first division winning Saturday Gold Lotto entry in May last year, then a $15 million winning Oz Lotto entry just two weeks later, and in June this year the outlet sold a division one winning entry in Saturday Gold Lotto worth $722,000.
Throughout Australia, it was the only first division winning entry in Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3503, which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw.
The winning numbers in Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3503 on Wednesday 11 November 2015 were 8, 33, 4, 27, 25 and 35 with the supplementary numbers of 15 and 7.
