Homes and storage units searched in drug operation

Two men have been busted following Police raids in Newcastle.

Two homes and two storage units were searched as part of Strike Force Malsbury investigations into drug crimes.

They allegedly seized a shortened shotgun, pistol and pen gun as well as five motorbikes, a car, a number of power tools and $10,000 cash.

Police say five pounds of cannabis, four ounces of ice and 30 MDMA pills were also discovered.

Two men, aged 32 and 20, have been charged with drug offences and have been denied bail to appear in court on July 17.
