The Honey Badger’s Aussie larrikin one-liners and infectious laughter has managed to sweep Australia off their feet, with the premiere of The Bachelor Australia season six dominating the ratings overnight.
The much-loved Channel Ten dating show managed to beat The Block in it’s very first night, drawing an audience of a whopping 940,000.
Nine’s popular renovating show had 823,000 viewers, while Anh Do’s Brush with Fame took third place on 654,000 and Seven’s Highway Patrol was fourth at up to 631,000, according to TV Tonight Australia.

Nick Cummins’ Bachelor debut also topped Matty J’s opening night last year, which brought in 899,000 viewers.

Seven News was the #1 program of the entire night, with 1.07m metro viewers tuning in at 6pm, ahead of Nine News’ 962,000.
The Honey Badger will be gracing our screens again tonight, when he embarks on his first ever group date on Network Ten at 7.30pm.
