Horror head-on crash near Canberra leaves no survivors
Two people have been killed in a horrific head-on crash in the NSW Southern Tablelands this afternoon.
Police said a 4WD and a ute collided head-on on Sutton Road in Sutton, about one kilometre north of Norton Road, just before 1pm.
The two men who were driving the vehicles both died at the scene just outside of Canberra.
They were the only occupants.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
At the time of writing, Sutton Road remained closed in both directions.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the area.
