With a commercial radio career spanning 20 years, Baggs told myGC he is keen to share his knowledge with up-and-coming radio and podcast stars.
“I wanted to create a space for students wanting to receive current up to date education from someone currently still in the industry,” he told myGC.
As part of the course, students will receive an official Audio College e-book, group classes, weekly feedback from Baggs, as well as access to a closed Facebook group for feedback and collaboration.
Some of Australia’s biggest names in radio have shown support for the program, including Kyle Sandilands.
“Simon Baggs is one of the few great presenters in this country. There’s plenty to learn from him,” he said.
Hot Tomato content director Brendon Dangar said the course Baggs has created is modern, effective and practical.
“As a Content Director who is always looking at new talent, having content creators coached and nurtured by Simon Baggs will bring a new breed of passionate, creative, highly driven and focused performers, future proofing the audio industry,” he told myGC.
The Audio College’s first 5-week course will be begin on November 21. For more information and to enrol, visit: theaudiocollege.com/
