HUMAN remains found on a rural property in southwest Queensland are those of missing Gold Coast man Jamie Hardgraves, police have confirmed.
The remains were found on a Kerridges Rd property at Glen Aplin, south of Stanthorpe, on Thursday December 1.
Police this afternoon confirmed the remains belong to Mr Hardgraves. The 43-year-old Coomera local disappeared in May after telling his family he was headed to Coolangatta.

His remains were found around 14 kilometres from where his white ute was found crashed and abandoned on the side of Stanthorpe-Texas Road.
Police say it is too early to determine how Mr Hardgraves died. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are continuing, with a post-mortem examination expected to be carried out later this week.
