Human remains found in bushland at Caboolture have been confirmed as those of Queensland man Samuel Thompson.
Mr Thompson was last seen leaving his Albion apartment in his orange 2016 Ford Mustang on March 7.
The 22-year-old’s car was later found abandoned in northern NSW on March 9.

Following a large scale police search and with assistance from cadaver dogs, the missing man’s body was discovered in a shallow grave in the Beerburrum State Forest on Monday.
A post mortem examination confirmed the remains belonged to Mr Thompson and indicated he was seriously assaulted, police said on Friday.
His cause of death has not yet been established, with investigators awaiting pathology results
Two men, aged 23 and 25, have appeared in court charged with one count each of murder and interfering with a corpse in relation to his alleged murder.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to reappear in Brisbane Magistrates Court next month.
