Hundreds of Gold Coasters left without power
HUNDREDS of Gold Coasters are without power after an outage in Runaway Bay.
Energex says 1,205 people have lost power across 20 different streets.
Streets affected include Anglers Esp, Bayview St, Bulolo Ave, Canal Ave, Daru Ave, Folkstone Pl, Goroka Pl, Greenwich Ct, Huon Cres, Jennifer Ave, Kavieng Cres, Lae Dr, Lae Pl, Madang Cres, Markham Ave, Morala Ave, Runaway Bay Ave, Samarai Ave, Shearwater Esp and Sports Dr.

The cause of the outage is due to powerlines being ripped down in the area.
Energex says it is working to resolve the issue.
