Hundreds of homes are in the dark across the Gold Coast Hinterland this morning as a result of the wild weather lashing the coast.
238 homes are still without power in Tamborine Mountain, but at the height of the outage, around 1,500 homes were in the dark.
Other properties across the Scenic Rim have also experienced issues this morning.

The wild weather is the likely cause of the power issues, but Energex is yet to specify exactly what’s gone wrong.
Technicians are working to repair the supply to at least 60 streets this morning.
It comes as wild weather continues to lash the southeast region, with the Bureau warning the rain will hand around for the day.
Strong winds and hazardous surf is also in the forecast.
