Hundreds of homes and businesses are without power on the Gold Coast this morning due to a major outage.
It’s understood 682 homes in Moledinar have been in darkness since 6am, while 10 homes in Southport have also been affected.
Energex says the cause is under investigation, with crews desperately working to fix the issue.
An update is expected to be given at 8am.
