Hundreds of homes without power on the Gold Coast
A number of homes are currently without power on the southern Gold Coast.
Energex reports that over 1,400 homes are affected in the suburbs of Elanora and Currumbin Waters.
The cause of the outage is currently under investigation, as crews work to restore electricity.
It’s currently affecting around 50 streets.
It’s understood the outage occurred around 7.30 am.
