NRL star Jack de Belin and his friend Callan Sinclair have been found not guilty of one sexual assault charge, but the jury has been unable to reach a verdict on five other charges.
The jury has been discharged with the pair now facing the prospect of a third trial.
De Belin, 30, and Sinclair, 24, pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulted a woman in a unit in North Wollongong in December 2019.

The pair was accused of forcing the woman to have sex with them after meeting in a nightclub.
After deliberating since early last week, the jury informed Judge Nicole Noman on Monday morning that it could not reach a unanimous verdict.
Judge Noman then gave jurors the option of an 11-1 majority verdict but that also could not be reached.
It’s the second time de Belin and Sinclair have faced trial.
The case will return to court on May 28 when prosecutors will decide whether they will pursue a third trial.
